Bob Ross is definitely one of the more surprising celebrities of all-time. He was a painter and TV show host, but it was his calming nature that was his charm. He hosted a show on PBS called “The Joy of Painting,” and people were drawn in by his gentle approach and let’s be honest that curly hair of his helped, too.
To review, Bob passed away back in 1995, but thanks to the Internet, he’s as well-known as ever. Even better? People are still into products related to the painter, like a Bob Ross Chia Pet and a Bob Ross: The Art of Chill board game. And now we can add another product to that list: Bob Ross: The Joy of Cereal.
The retailer FYE recently released the boxes of breakfast cereal, which is basically a lot like Lucky Charms, with toasted oat pieces and a rainbow of marshmallow shapes, including happy little trees, happy little accidents, and almighty mountains. The box also includes a “positivity paint palate” with quotes from Bob “for motivation, positivity, and a great way to start your first painting.” The cereal will cost you more than a box of most other brands at $9.99, but they don’t come with this guy’s iconic image on the front.
