'AT40' Recap: There's a New #1 on the Chart This Week

This week we say goodbye to "Boyfriend" by Ariana Grande & Social House, and "Shameless" by Camila Cabello.

New this week, Diplo and Jonas Brothers debut with "Lonely." It’s Diplo's sixth hit as an artist. His other collabs were with Skrillex & Justin Bieber; Sleepy Tom; Ellie Goulding & Swae Lee; Sia & The Weeknd; and Sia & Labrinth.

The highest debut of the week goes to Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber with "10,000 Hours" coming in at #25. It’s one of the highest #s ever in a Top 40 title. Not counting phone #s, we’ve had "Million Reasons" by Lady Gaga, "24k Magic" by Bruno Mars and "One In A Million You" by Larry Graham.

For the first time since March 2018, we have a 5-way tie on for biggest mover of the week: "Circles" by Post Malone, "Good As Hell" by Lizzo, "Panini" by Lil Nas X, "One Thing Right" by Marshmello & Kane Brown and "Don’t Call Me Angel" by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus & Lana Del Rey, all moved up 3 spots.

In the Top 3 this week, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello fall one spot to #3 with "Senorita." And Lizzo, after spending four weeks at the top with "Truth Hurts" also drops down a notch putting her at #2, which means there is a new #1!

Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved" has climbed up 2 spots to take over the top. This marks only the second time this century that an artist from Scotland has reached #1. In late 2011, Rihanna & Calvin Harris hit the top with "We Found Love." Calvin is from Dumfries, Scotland.
