Billy Porter is adding director to his almost EGOT status. The actor shared with Ryan Seacrest he manifested the moment 22 years ago and couldn't be prouder of the project, Anything's Possible.
"It was a dream come true in that I spoke my desire out into the universe about 22 years ago," Billy shared, revealing he did an artist's workbook to help embrace his inner artist. "... It's also aligned with my value system with the fact as a Black queer man in this world I decided to be authentic and choose myself and … that my queerness -- that everybody told me would be my liabilty -- would transition into my super power."
Anything's Possible follows a high school student with a crush who summons the courage to ask a transsexual teen out on a date, knowing the drama it could cause.
Billy added it's all about "normalizing the othered."
"It's a coming-of-age romantic comedy that follows a Black trans girl."
