Jennifer Lopez reportedly has an "unexpected ally" in her corner amid the alleged trouble in her marriage to Ben Affleck — Affleck's ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
On Tuesday (July 9), Us Weekly reported that the "On the Floor" singer and the 13 Going on 30 actress have been "really friendly" and are "relating to each other" as speculation surrounding the state of Lopez and Affleck's relationship continues to make headlines, per Page Six.
A source told the magazine that Garner has been a "surprising person for" for the This Is Me... Now musician to talk to and has been "helpful" amid her rumored rocky marriage to the Academy Award winner.
Garner would be able to offer a familiar perspective to Lopez as she has also gone through her own divorce from the Argo director. Affleck and Garner were married for 10 years before separating in 2015 and finalizing their divorce in 2018. The share three children they continue to co-parent: 18-year-old Violet, 15-year-old Seraphina and 12-year old Samuel.
Lopez and Affleck have been married since June 2022 after rekindling their romance the previous year, around 20 years after they called off their first engagement. However, there has been much speculation about their marriage after Affleck was seen without his wedding ring in May and Lopez "like" a cryptic post about unhealthy relationships. Conflicting reports have stated that the couple are "not over yet" while others claim the pair have a "slim" chance of reconciling.
