Selena Gomez is making her younger self very proud.
The Rare Beauty founder recently shared several photos on her Instagram from the set of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, the new spinoff of Gomez' beloved hit Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place. She included several selfies with her co-star and TV brother David Henrie as well as a few of the child stars from the new show and even a group pic of the cast and crew.
Gomez also reflected on what it means to her younger self that she is able to bring joy to all the children watching a new generation of young wizards exploring magic and bonding with family.
"NOTHING will ever beat making little kids laugh," she captioned the post. "Thank you @disneywizardsseries for making the little girl in me so happy!! Hope you guys watch!!"
Gomez made her magical return as Alex Russo in the premiere of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, and based on the new pics, she seems excited to reprise her role once again. Last month, she looked on the series that "gave me everything that I have today."
Wizards isn't the only notable show featuring Gomez' acting talent. She also stars in the hit Hulu series Only Murders in the Building alongside Martin Short and Steve Martin. The "Love On" singer also recently praised fellow co-star Meryl Streep for her behavior on set, sharing that she hopes to have the same spirit as the Mamma Mia! star decades into her career.
