Police are making progress in the investigation into the teenage girl who was found inside singer d4vd's car.

On Wednesday, September 17, ABC7 reported that the Los Angeles Police Department searched a home in Hollywood Hills, where the artist's Tesla in question was towed from. Investigators confiscated a laptop and several other items in evidence bags. According to TMZ, the house is being rented by d4vd's manager, Josh Marshall, but there are enough photos and videos to prove that d4vd stayed at the house. In one video, d4vd sings in the kitchen with Benny Blanco and dances with KATSEYE in another.

Police recently identified the dead teen as Celeste Rivas. Rivas had been missing from her home in Lake Elsinore, Calif., since April 2024. Her mother confirmed her identity, age, and said her 15-year-old daughter had a boyfriend named David. She also confirmed that Rivas had a tattoo on her right index finger that says, "Shhh..." D4vd has the same tattoo.

The 20-year-old singer was also allegedly photographed not far from Rivas' family home just before she disappeared. In a photo analyzed by TMZ, you can see the artist standing in a parking lot while speaking to a man holding a brown paper bag. The place where he was photographed is just a six-minute walk from the home where Celeste lived with her family. There's also another photo circulating that appears to show d4vd with a girl who looks like the teen, but authorities have yet to confirm the girl's identity. He also had a song called "Celeste" and mentioned the name twice in the second verse.

D4vd is cooperating with the police, but he has not been charged. Neither he nor his manager has publicly commented on the situation.
