Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are celebrating a special milestone for their youngest child.
The Newsroom actress took to her Instagram on Wednesday (September 17) to share adorable new photos of her and the comedian's daughter Méi June in honor of the little one's first birthday on September 14. The couple, who tied the knot in July 2024, are also parents to son Malcolm, 3.
In one photo, Munn stared lovingly at her daughter as she held her in her arms near a beach, while another featured a snap of the family of four, with Mulaney keeping hold of Malcolm in his lap as Munn held their daughter. She also shared pics of the birthday girl's purple cake covered in white clouds, plums and dragons, both before it was touched and after the 1 year old got ahold of it.
Munn gushed over their daughter in the caption, sharing insight into her developing sweet yet demanding personality.
"She is the happiest, smiliest baby who will also let you know exactly when she doesn't like something or want something you won't give her (she mostly wants all the sharp things 😑," she wrote. "She is absolutely in love with her big brother, if I'm in the room she insists that I be the one to hold her and her daddy is the only one who can put her to bed."
Munn continued, "She's so cute when she drinks out of straws, she wants to be independent but also have me carry her which is why her favorite place is in the front carrier, her favorite cuisine is Thai and no matter what room she's in she always manages to find the outlets."
The X-Men: Apocalypse actress also shared that her daughter is crawling and standing but "desperate to walk," and that she is "the perfect mix of a dragon and a plum" that is "just like her Chinese zodiac sign and the translation of her name."
"Happiest First Birthday our Méi Méi girl," she concluded. "We love you we love you we love you."
Munn and Mulaney welcomed their second child in September 2024 via surrogate amid Munn's battle with breast cancer. She first revealed her diagnosis in March 2024 and has been sharing updates on her journey ever since. Earlier this year, she explained why she stopped getting treatments to help fade her surgical scars and started "embracing" the marks.
