Ashton Kutcher is singing his ex-wife Demi Moore's praises.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight published January 14 promoting his new series The Beauty, Kutcher, 47, made rare comments about his ex while acknowledging the comparisons between his latest project and Moore's film The Substance, E! News. The Punk'd alum said that Moore, 63, "killed" her role in the 2024 body horror/sci-fi movie, a performance that earned her an Oscar nomination and her very first Golden Globe.
"Demi's performance in The Substance, obviously, she got extraordinary accolades," he said. "I'm so proud of her."
Moore and Kutcher got married in 2005 after two years of dating but announced their split in 2011, finalizing their divorce around two years later, People reports. Kutcher has since moved on with wife Mila Kunis. The pair, who starred together on That '70s Show, began dating in 2012 and tied the knot in 2015. They share two children, daughter Wyatt, 11, and son Dimitri, 9.
Two of Moore's own daughters, who she shares with ex-husband Bruce Willis, made their own rare comments about their former stepfather last year. Kutcher previously shared that while he is no longer with their mom, he is "never going to stop loving them and respecting them and honoring them and rooting for them to be successful in whatever they are pursuing."
