Dove Cameron is bringing fans into the special moment she and Damiano David got engaged.
In a new interview with Vogue published on Monday (January 26), the "Boyfriend" singer shared new details into the Måneskin frontman's proposal. The couple announced their engagement in January, months after sparking engagement rumors, but she confirmed her now-fiancé actually popped the question in October 2025 in a "very sweet," intimate moment.
"For the actual proposal, I wasn't wearing any makeup," she said. "I was completely barefaced, 'cause I had no idea that it was gonna be that day. It was very sweet in that way because I am typically very made-up, done-up. I have fun experimenting with that stuff. But in this case, I was just in my big T-shirt, slightly damp hair, and no makeup."
Rumors that Cameron and David were engaged began circulating in October after the pair were seen walking arm-in-arm in Sydney, Australia, with the Disney alum sporting a diamond ring. The outing came weeks after they had celebrated their second anniversary and Cameron gushed that "life has become so beautiful with you in it" in a heartfelt Instagram tribute.
After the couple confirmed their engagement earlier this month, Italian jeweler Alessandro Bernini shared details about their matching engagement rings, including that each ring has a "deeply meaningful inscription" inside the band.
