Sombr Rides Into A New Era With Cinematic 'Homewrecker' Release

Just days after performing at the Grammy Awards, Sombr is taking a trip to the wild wild west. The rising star shared his brand new song "Homewrecker" and its very cinematic music video, alongside Quenlin Blackwell, in a playful tale of forbidden attraction.

In the video released, Sombr and Blackwell play actors with undeniable chemistry on a Western film set, while dealing with a volatile director portrayed by actor Milo Manheim. The storyline mirrors the song's lyrics about romantic temptation, with Sombr singing, "I don't wanna talk down on your lover, I don't wanna be a homewrecker, I just know I can be better." Sombr's "Homewrecker" video was directed by Gus Black, known for his work with artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Laufey.

The new release comes on the heels of Sombr's Grammy Awards performance on Sunday, where he performed his hit "12 to 12" as part of the Best New Artist nominee showcase.

Sombr is up for several iHeartRadio Music Awards, including Best New Artist (Pop), Best New Artist (Alternative), Alternative Song of the Year for "Back To Friends," Favorite Debut Album for I Barely Know Her and Best Lyrics for "undressed." Fans can vote for the latter two categories (Favorite Debut Album and Best Lyrics) by visiting iHeartRadio.com/awards. Tune in to see which artists will take home an iHeartRadio Music Award on Thursday, March 26th at 8pm ET live (PT tape-delayed) on FOX. The show will also be broadcast on iHeartRadio stations across the country and on the iHeartRadio app.
