Team USA's "Blade Angels" have the stamp of approval from Taylor Swift to make the arena shimmer at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
On Monday (February 16), the U.S. Figure Skating Olympic team shared a video on Instagram of Swift introducing the three Olympians and "Blade Angels" Alysa Liu, Amber Glenn and Isabeau Levito who are expected to carve a path in the women's figure skating competition in the Games, per People.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to Amber, Alysa and Isabeau: three American Showgirls on ice, who will capture you heart with their stories," the "Opalite" singer said in a voiceover, referencing her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl, as clips of the athletes skating played, highlighting their skills on the ice and the obstacles they overcame to get to the Olympic stage.
"Amber will be the first to tell you about how many battles she's fought, and how the ones she's lost have meant as much as the wins," she said of the 26-year-old skater. "Her superpower now is embracing the fight and daring the world to test her self-belief."
As for 20-year-old Liu, who "walked away from skaing when she was 16, then came back on her own terms," Swift explained that "joy fuels her now," adding, "Every jump, a celebration. Every performance, a testament to the beauty to know yourself."
Levito appearance in the competition is almost cosmic, with Swift noting the 18 year old is "destiny personified."
"Her mom grew up in Milan, and her nonna, her grandma, lives exactly 13 minutes from the Olympic rink," she said. "When you can skate like you're meant to be out there, history has a fun way of showing up."
