Dove Cameron's style is always evolving.

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter published on Sunday (February 22), the 56 Days actress, 30, opened up about her transition from a child star on Disney to a singer and actress paving her own way at 30 and how she navigates comparisons between the different eras of her life. Cameron was 17 years old when she first started pulling double duty as twins on Disney's Liv and Maddie in 2013 and in 2015 starred in Descendants, which sparked a new Disney movie franchise, per E! News.

"I think there's always going to be a large number of people who hear my name and think of me when I was 19, platinum blonde and smiling at the camera," she said. "'She changed so much.' I think it would be bizarre if I was still behaving like an 18, 19 year old as a 30-year-old woman."

Cameron added that she is still the same person she has always been, the only notable change being her darker hair and simply getting older.

"Sometimes I see these TikToks of like, 'Dove Cameron when she was on Disney, she had this spark,'" she said. "It's like, guys, please, literally the difference is some hair dye, and now I'm 30. That's it. I'm exactly the same person."

The "Boyfriend" singer is entering a new chapter of her life after getting engaged to fiancé Damiano David. She confirmed her engagement to the Måneskin rocker earlier this year and has since shared details of the "very sweet" proposal.
