Marcus Mumford is "sickeningly" in love with wife Carey Mulligan.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, the Mumford & Sons frontman, 39, made a rare comment about his marriage to the 40-year-old Promising Young Woman actress when asked about who he admires the most. Mumford kept his sweet answer direct and to the point: "Sickeningly, it's probably my wife, because she's a legend."
Mumford and Mulligan have been married since 2012 but have known each other since they were children when they became pen pals after meeting at summer camp, per People. Though they lost touch, they reconnected in 2011 and got engaged in August of that year after five months of dating. They share three children together: daughter Evelyn, born in 2015, son Wilfred, born in 2017, and a daughter born in 2023.
The "Sigh No More" musician also shared a look into their family's home life and how he and Mulligan are raising their kids, revealing that they "have a rule in our house where we don't say hate."
Mumford & Sons are preparing to hit the road the summer for their massive 2026 Prizefighter North American tour, in support of their new sixth studio album of the same name.
