Bruno Mars' new album cements his status as the king of love.
On Friday (February 27), the Grammy Award winner returned with his brand new album The Romantic, a nine-track project that covers the full spectrum of love and romance. The record marks the singer's first album in five years since Silk Sonic, his superduo with Anderson .Paak, released An Evening with Silk Sonic and his first solo album in a decade since 2016's 24K magic.
Fans got an exclusive peek at Mars' new album on Thursday when he previewed the entire record during a retro listening party in "Romantic Radio with Bruno Mars: An iHeartRadio Album Preview" on Thursday. The hour-long special, which will re-air on Love Songs Radio on the iHeartRadio app every night at 9 p.m. ET through March 6, even featured special guests "calling in" to the show to request songs and get advice from "Mr. Romantic himself."
Mars also dropped the music video for his newest single and the album's opening track "Risk It All" on Friday, declaring exactly how far he would go to be with his love, singing, "It's crazy but it's true/ There's nothing I won't do/ I'd risk it all for you." During his "Romantic Radio" show, he explained how he reworked the track over and over in the studio until it "sounded like love."
The musician will hit the road this year in support of The Romantic for his tour of the same name, traveling around North America, Europe and the U.K. joined by special guests .Paak, Victoria Monét, Raye and Leon Thomas.
