Grey's Anatomy shared a touching tribute to Eric Dane one week after his death following a battle with ALS.
The long-running medical drama paid homage to the late actor, who portrayed beloved character Dr. Mark Sloan at the end of its episode that aired on Thursday (February 26) with a video highlighting memorable McSteamy moments set to Tommee Profitt and Fleurie's cover of Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars," per People. Grey's also shared the montage on the show's Instagram account "in loving memory of Eric Dane."
The highlight reel hit home with some of Sloan's most emotional quotes, like, "Don't waste one single minute" and "If you love someone, tell them. Even if you're scared that it's not the right thing. Even if you're scared that it'll cause problems. Even if you're scared it'll burn your life to the ground, you say it. You say it loud and you go from there."

Dane died on February 19 at the age of 53, nearly one year after revealing his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) diagnosis. His family confirmed in statement that he had passed away following his "courageous battle" with the disease, according to People.
"He spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife [Rebecca Gayheart], and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world," the statement read. "Throughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight."
The statement continued, "He will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered always. Eric adored his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he's received. The family has asked for privacy as they navigate this impossible time."
On February 22, Gayheart took to social media to reflect on the overwhelming support sent her family's way following Dane's death.
"I am so blown away by the outpouring of love and support from our community. There aren't words to express our gratitude. You are truly holding us up during this difficult time."
