Cardi B is firing back at media outlets that claimed she dissed her former flame Stefon Diggs during her recent tour stop.
Over the weekend, the "Pretty & Petty" rapper was on stage in San Francisco when she seemingly threw her ex under the bus. "You can't be out here playing with a b***h like me," she told the crowd. "There's n***as out here praying for a b***h like me. I'm too sexy to be lonely and too grown to be played with n***a. Who you playin' with muthaf**ka?!" She didn't say his name, but fans and blogs alike believed she was addressing Diggs.
Soon after the videos of her monologue spread online, Bardi felt compelled to clear the air. In a post she shared to X on Monday, March 2, the mother of four addressed the moment and clarified that she wasn't talking about Diggs at all.
"Dear blogs, when I perform a song I always introduce the song with a lil razzle dazzle.. not everything is a shot or personal," she said. "I’m actually repeating lyrics from the songs…Relax."
It was easy for fans to believe that she was dissing Diggs. The couple reportedly split last month after Diggs' team lost to the Seattle Seahawks during Super Bowl LX. They had spent over a year together and even welcomed a child last November. Cardi confirmed their breakup during a previous tour stop while firing shots at her foe BIA, who had dissed both of them on social media.
"Just because I ain’t f**king with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy.. this for you b***h!" Cardi told the crowd before performing "Pretty & Petty."
As of this report, Stefon Diggs has yet to address his stance on Cardi B.
