Rihanna has left Los Angeles while police investigate a shooting that happened at her home.
According to a report TMZ published on Monday, March 9, the Grammy award-winning singer was spotted loading bags into cars before leaving her property. She was taken to Van Nuys Airport, where she boarded a flight and took off. Authorities were still at her home as she packed her things. Police are still looking into the shooting that occurred while Riri and her children were inside. As the investigation moves forward, new dispatch audio provides more insight into what happened that day.
In the audio, you can hear the dispatcher talk about the shooting, which happened on Sunday afternoon at around 1:15 p.m. She said the shots came from a white Tesla that was across the street from Rihanna's home. In the audio, the dispatcher says the shooter fired 10 shots at Rihanna's property. The alleged shooter was identified as 35-year-old Ivana Lisette Ortiz. She was arrested shortly after the incident happened and is still in custody. Her bail was set at $10,225,000.
As of this report, neither Rihanna nor her boyfriend A$AP Rocky has commented on the situation. Since the shooting, fans have been expressing their support for the couple on social media. One video in particular shows Rihanna saying hi to fans from her front door. It's safe to say she won't be doing that again any time soon.
