Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, the woman who allegedly fired multiple rounds at Rihanna's home, once made a video about what could happen after the singer's death.
Shortly after police revealed the alleged shooter's identity on Monday, March 9, Internet sleuths discovered what appears to be Ortiz's Facebook page. Her page is littered with derogatory posts about Rihanna, including one post that alleges the singer talks about her behind her back. The page includes a link to her YouTube channel, where she uploaded a video of herself talking incoherently about the singer. She also accused Rihanna of trying to kill her and spoke about what may happen when the singer dies.
The video was uploaded back in January. In it, Ortiz appears to read from a 'Praying Woman's Journal' while saying "[Rihanna]'s the one who wants to kill me." She also talked about the singer's death and claimed that when it happens, God will take her to her "future."
"Listen Rihanna, when you die, God is taking me to my future," she shouted.
Another clip shows her talking about Rihanna's face and how it resembles the devil. The 35-year-old woman has targeted Rihanna and other celebrities, like Cardi B and Drake, in other videos. She even tried to stop a Billie Eilish concert in Orlando by filing a verified emergency petition against Live Nation Worldwide
Ortiz was arrested and charged with attempted murder. Police allege she pulled up to Rihanna's home in Los Angeles and used an AR-15-style weapon to fire 10 shots from her white Tesla. She was captured shortly after the shooting. This isn't her first run-in with the law either. Florida Today reports Ortiz has been arrested three times since 2013. She faced a bankruptcy case in 2013 and was arrested for suspicion of careless driving in 2021. In 2023, Ortiz was taken into custody for suspicion of domestic violence and battery.
Ortiz is being held on a $10,225,000 bond.
