Thomas Rhett is teaming up with pop singer-songwriter and longtime friend Niall Horan.
Rhett revealed on Tuesday morning (March 10) that he and Horan will play two headlining stadium shows together this summer. They’ll take the stage at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, and at Hersheypark Stadium in Hersey, Pennsylvania. The two converts mark Rhett’s and Horan’s first-ever stadium shows together and their first time headlining the massive Nashville venue. Lineups will include rising artists Kashus Culpepper and Emily Ann Roberts.
“Niall and I have been buddies for nearly a decade now, but one thing we’ve not done yet is officially tour together," Rhett said in a statement. "There’s nothing I love more than being on the road alongside longtime friends—it’s going to be a blast for us and the fans.”
Horan added in a statement of his own, “when TR brought up the idea of doing these, I immediately got so excited just thinking about it. We’ve been friends for ages and it just makes perfect sense.”
The announcement arrives one day after Rhett announced his headlining “The Soundtrack To Life Tour.” The run of shows includes Roberts, Culpepper, ERNEST, Zach John King, Vincent Mason and Conner Smith on select dates.
“I’ve always believed a great song can take you right back to a moment—your first love, the last day of school, that summer you never wanted to end—and that’s what I hope the fans take away from our shows this summer,” the country star and father of five said in a statement on Monday (March 9). “And for me, there couldn’t be a better way to kick off tour than at home in Nashville. I can’t wait to hit the road with this crew of insanely talented artists and make some memories.”
Tickets to the tour — including the two stadium shows with Horan — will be available to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. local time on Friday (March 13). See the full list of dates below.
