Hilary Duff's list of rom-com costars is what dreams are made of, but which one is her favorite?
The "Mature" singer joined Jimmy Fallon the the March 10 episode of The Tonight Show where she reflected on some of most iconic acting roles and was asked to choose her favorite onscreen love interest between Chad Michael Murray in A Cinderella Story, Penn Badgley in Gossip Girl and Yani Gellman in The Lizzie McGuire Movie, per People.
There was one obvious choice for the How I Met Your Father star, if only because of how often she watches the project with her daughter.
"I'm just going to stick to it, because I just watched it with my daughter, and it's embarrassing that she always wants to watch it," she said. "I'm going to say Chad Michael Murray."
Duff pointed toward one of the most memorable scenes in the film
"It was the walk up the bleachers," she said. "And the rain drop, I was like, 'Wow, this is romantic!'"
Duff recently looked back on the beloved 2004 teen rom-com during an interview with Vanity Fair and revealed that her 4-year-old daughter Mae had a hilarious — and very relatable — reaction to the movie. Duff shares Mae, as well as daughters Banks, 7, and Townes, 1, with husband Matthew Koma, and son Luca, 13, with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
