Adam Levine made his wedding to Behati Prinsloo a night to remember with a special serenade for his new wife.
In a new clip from The Voice: Battle of Champions, Levine revealed that he sang the 1981 song "Leather and Lace" for Prinsloo at their 2014 wedding when his teammates Drew Russell and Jared Shoemaker performed the Don Henley and Stevie Nicks ballad on the show, per People.
"This song, to me, is just a heavyweight champion of songs in my life," he said while giving feedback for the duo's performance. "Like, I sang this song with Stevie Nicks to my wife at our wedding, you know what I mean?"
This surprising revelation came as news to fellow coach Kelly Clarkson, who exclaimed, "What?" leading Levine to explain further, "I did. That happened. It really happened. I think it really happened — I pinch myself sometimes."
The Maroon 5 frontman own experience singing the track with Nicks meant that he would be a harsher critic of the performance, but he assured the pair that their own take was "so beautiful."
Levine and Prinsloo have been married for more than a decade, saying "I do" on July 19, 2014, in a ceremony in San José del Cabo, Mexico. They have since welcomed three children together, daughters Dusty Rose, 9, and Gia Grace, 8, and a son born in January 2023.
