Miley Cyrus put Alex Cooper on blast at the premiere of the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special.

Cooper served as the host for the highly-anticipated special, which premiered Tuesday (March 24) on Disney+, exactly 20 years after the beloved series first debuted. During a premiere event on Monday, the "Flowers" singer shared how as a "super fan" of Hannah Montana, Cooper provided helpful insight into what fans of the series would like to see in an anniversary celebration, per People.

"I didn't know what you all would want, and Alex, being a super fan," she began, quickly interrupting herself to joke that her level of dedication was "kinda creepy."

As the audience laughed, Cyrus continued to playfully call out the host, saying, "She's also my neighbor, which is also creepy. She got money, and then she moved next door to me." The Something Beautiful musician quipped that the Call Her Daddy podcast host knew they would be neighbors when she moved in as Cooper had interviewed her years earlier at her home.

The roast was seemingly all in good fun as Cyrus continued to share her gratitude for Cooper's involvement in the milestone celebration of all things Hannah Montana.

"But anyway, thank you for being this host," she said. "Thank you for being so insanely dedicated to Hannah Montana."

Prior to the premiere of the anniversary special, Cyrus explained to Variety why the event was helping her reclaim that part of her past.

"I used to think of Hannah as something separate from myself," she said. "This special is my reclaiming of merging Hannah and Miley together."
