Alex Warren's performance at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday (March 26) was one for the books.

He started his set with a brief rendition of his mega-hit "Ordinary," sitting at a piano on a stage transformed into a subway platform, commuters walking around in their own busy lives, before he joined the crowd in a life-size subway car to sing his latest single "Fever Dream."

The song title was a fitting description for the rest of the performance, a chaotic scene of the commuters dancing around, musicians playing trumpets on the platform and cash being thrown in the air as fire and pyrotechnics lit up the stage.

In addition to his performance, Warren was nominated for several awards throughout the night, including Pop Artist of the Year, Best New Artist (Pop) as well as Song of the Year and Pop Song of the Year for "Ordinary." He was also presented with the 2026 Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award.

Hosted by Ludacris, the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards featured special appearances and stellar performances by artists like Ludacris, Warren, RAYE and Lainey Wilson as well as Kehlani, John Mellencamp and a must-see collaboration with TLC, Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue, who performed together for the very first time.
