The queen of easter eggs is at it again.

Taylor Swift got fans speculating about a potential new project and dissecting her fashion once again when stepping out on the red carpet at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday (March 26).

The "Fate of Ophelia" singer chose a pale green custom Wiederhoft two-piece set for the night, with intricate beading along the front of the corseted top and a miniskirt paired with matching Jimmy Choo sandal heels, per Elle. She kept her accessories minimal, wearing jewelry by Spinelli Kilcollin, People reports, as well as her diamond engagement ring from fiancé Travis Kelce.

Some Swifties theorized the look offered a hint that she would soon be announcing a new album, specifically the re-recorded version of her 2006 debut album Taylor Swift given its association with the color green as well as the minimal hair and makeup styling. Fans flocked to X (formerly Twitter) with their theories, pointing to this year marking the 20th anniversary of her self-titled album, and sharing their excitement for the possible new record.

Over the last few years, Swift has re-recorded the (Taylor's Version) of many of her her older albums, but that process appeared to become moot when she purchased the masters to her first six albums in May 2025. At the time, she revealed that she had already recorded Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version) and she "really [loves] how it sounds now," so Swifties have been eagerly waiting to see if and when the project would ever ben released.
