Céline Dion "can't wait" to see fans in person again as she announces her first set of shows since revealing her health struggles more than three years ago.
In honor of her 58th birthday on Monday (March 30), the "My Heart Will Go On" singer revealed that she is taking the stage once again in September and October for 10 "unforgettable" shows across five weeks at Paris La Défense Arena, per People. This will be Dion's first run of concerts since revealing her stiff person syndrome diagnosis in December 2022.
She shared the news with fans on Instagram, and opened up further about her nerves and excitement in a video.
"Hi everyone, in my career, I've recorded a lot of birthday messages but this is the first time I've ever recorded one for my own birthday. And wow, it's been kind of hard keeping it a secret from myself," she said. "But I want to let you know that I'm doing great. I'm managing my health, I'm feeling good. I'm singing again, even been doing a little bit of dancing, obviously."
After thanking fans for their support and prayers in her "most difficult times" over the years, she shared the news that she is making a return to performing live for Céline Dion Paris 2026.
"This year, I'm getting the best gift of my life. I'm getting the chance to see you, to perform for you, once again in Paris, beginning in September this year," she said. "I'm so happy. I'm so ready to do this. I'm feeling good, I'm strong, I'm feeling excited, obviously. Of course a little nervous, but most of all I am grateful to all of you."
She added, "I can't wait to see you again."
The "All By Myself" singer publicly revealed in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, a rare autoimmune neurological disorder that can cause severe and painful muscle spasms and stiffness, according to Johns Hopkins Medical.
The revelation came as she was forced to concerts that were previously scheduled for 2020 and postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She took the stage for the first time nearly two years later when she performed at the Eiffel Tower during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Presale for tickets for Céline Dion Paris 2026 begins April 7, with general ticket sales starting April 10. For more information, visit her website.
