The Lizzie McGuire Movie has been a beloved classic ever since it premiered in 2003, full of iconic fashion moments and memorable lines that fans look back at fondly even more than 20 years later. Who could forget the legendary igloo dress, while "Sing to me, Paolo!" is ingrained in basically ever millennial's memory. However, the star of the show had a less pleasant view of one of her jaw-dropping ensembles.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Hilary Duff recalled the look she wore as Isabella, the Italian pop star doppelgänger to the American teenager Lizzie McGuire, during the final performance of the movie for "What Dreams Are Made Of."

"I remember hating this green Isabella outfit so much," she said. "It's so funny that it's so iconic."

The "Mature" singer said that the ensemble, which featured a shiny bright green jacket, green miniskirt with sheer overlay, fishnet leggings and boots was very different compared to the TV show, per People.

"The costumer from the movie made all the outfits, like original. It wasn't like a designer or anything," she said, adding, "Unlike the TV show where, like, I picked all my clothes — there was a costumer, but it was, like, very influenced by me. Not so much in the movie — and like, by the way, she crushed it — but being, like, a young teenage girl, I just remember not liking that lime green number at all."

The A Cinderella Story actress gave fans a glimpse at her legendary wardrobe featuring accessories and clothing staples from some of her memorable roles while announcing her upcoming The Lucky Me world tour.
