If you're hoping that Zendaya or Tom Holland will confirm whether they are actually married, you are going to be waiting for a long time.
In a new interview on the Wednesday (April 1) episode of The New York Times' Modern Love podcast, the Euphoria actress explained why she and Holland don't have plans to confirm or deny they secretly tied the knot as first teased earlier this year by her longtime stylist Law Roach, per E! News.
"I just feel like for me there is this level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship," she said. "I do know that I'm a public person and so is he and I'm also award that we've grown up in front of people and we've done movies where we fall in love with each other so I really do understand that and I don't want to dismiss that like, 'Stay out of my business' or whatever."
Zendaya said that she is a "very private person" who wants to save their relationship for her and Holland, adding that they aren't trying to "hide from the world" but "preserve things for ourselves so that we can maintain that joy just within ourselves and our loved ones and our family."
The Drama actress is aware of the interest in her and Holland's romance, and even poked fun at the ongoing speculation in a recent late-night interview, but is setting boundaries of what she chooses to share with the public.
"I hear it but also my own little boundaries of what I like to bring up and talk about but then also what I'm willing to share," she said.
Marriage rumors were sparked in February when Zendaya was seen swapping her diamond engagement ring for a simple gold band and were stoked further when Roach teased to Access Hollywood at the 2026 Actor Awards that the couple had already gotten married without the public knowing.
"The wedding has already happened," Roach said. "You missed it."
