Nelly, Kane Brown, Marshmello, and more are set to perform during the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix next month.
On Thursday, April 2, iHeartRadio exclusively announces the official lineup for the Hard Rock Beach Club's fifth annual trackside concert series. During race week, fans will get to experience live performances by a diverse lineup of popular artists, including Nelly, Kane Brown, Marshmello, Zedd, DJ Diesel a.k.a. Shaquille O'Neal, and rising house duo Loud Luxury. Hosted by Hard Rock International, the weekend-long event is happening May 1 - May 3 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
"As you can tell, we're bringing a lot of different variety," Keith Sheldon, President of Entertainment & Brand Management at Hard Rock, tells iHeartRadio, "but all the artists have incredible energy and will really help amplify the experience for the fans that are not only at Beach Club, but throughout the track."
The Hard Rock Beach Club is located at Turns 11-13 inside the Miami International Autodrome. Racegoers will enjoy poolside vibes with cabana-style seating, bars, and all-day cuisine. Grammy Award-winning artists Nelly and Zedd will kick off the weekend by performing their plethora of hits on Friday, May 1. On Saturday, May 2, EDM superstar Marshmello and the NBA's most famous artist, DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal) will take the stage. The event will close out on Sunday, May 3, with Loud Luxury and country superstar Kane Brown. Each performance will be livestreamed on screens throughout the race track.
Before the trackside performances, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood will host the headliners and other performers at a series of events leading up to the Miami Grand Prix. Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Guns N' Roses will hit the stage at Hard Rock Live on Thursday, April 30, followed by Nelly, Kane Brown, and Marshmello, who will perform at the same venue on Friday, May 1. Brown and the masked EDM star, who collaborated on the song "Miles On It," will keep the party going at a late-night set at DAER Nightclub. Tickets are available here.
"While the racing speaks for itself and is always phenomenal with such amazing talent, taking to the track week in, week out throughout the course of the F1 Circuit, what makes Miami so unique has been that energy of the entertainment factor that comes to the table every year," Sheldon adds. "So we look at these artists and not only do they do just that, but they also amplify how the Hard Rock brand has evolved. Creating this beach club environment where Hard Rock can showcase how we're about all genres of music, not just one segment of music. We're talking about hip-hop, electronic dance music. We're talking about a basketball star-turned-dubstep artist and an amazing country star all taking the same stage for Hard Rock and maybe a little bit of what an international audience might not totally expect of Hard Rock, but it's who we've become as a brand."
Over the past five years, the Hard Rock Beach Club has featured performances by artists of all genres, including Ed Sheeran, Pitbull, Kygo, Don Omar, and more. The eclectic list of performers is a testament to Hard Rock's dedication to enlisting the best entertainers in the world to be a part of the annual concert series and the big race overall.
"I think what we've created in Miami has become something that's really omnipresent at a lot of the Formula One races across the circuit," Sheldon says. "So now that we're in year five, we feel like we've hit our stride, but it's always about raising the bar, trying to take it to the next level. And certainly that's what we're looking to do this year."
Tickets for the three-day event are available now.
