Fame and fortune mean nothing if you don't have someone to share it with.
OneRepublic is back with their brand new single "Need Your Love," an emotional track produced by lead singer Ryan Tedder and co-written by James Essien that explains they don't need money, fame or expensive things, only need the adoration of the one they love.
"Don't need the buzz of the credit cards/ The house on the hill with a perfect yard/ Don't gotta see my name on the boulevard," Tedder sings. "I don't need a million dollars/ Giving me expensive problems/ Oh, don't need a drink just to fill the cup/ But I need your love."
While "Need Your Love" was only now released on Friday (April 3), fans have been anticipating the song for a while after it was first teased during select live performances in 2025.
OneRepublic also shared a music video for the new track, a visual of the band performing in a warehouse that, according to a press release, "illuminates the track's message of love." No over-the-top stunts or grand gestures, just the band in their element and Tedder's vocals soaring along the melody as they share their need for love with the world.
The new single comes weeks after the band shared a special deluxe release of their debut album Dreaming Out Loud, issuing the record on vinyl for the first time ever and featuring unreleased tracks as well as hits like "Stop and Stare" and "Apologize."
