Schitt's Creek star Dan Levy shot down hopes of any kind of show reunion anytime soon.

The actor recently returned to Goodwood, Ontario, the Canadian hamlet in which the beloved series was shot for every episode of its six-season run.

In a clip shared on Sunday (April 5) by CBS Sunday Morning, Levy is seen walking through the town of the show in which he both starred in and co-created, alongside his father, Eugene Levy.

At one point, CBS correspondent Anthony Mason tells Dan about how fans all the time ask if there will ever be a sequel. "No, not now. You can't," Levy responds, indirectly addressing the tragic passing of his on-screen mother and costar, Catherine O'Hara, who died in January.

Levy went on to share that before her death, he was "thinking about" some kind of reunion or reboot of the show. "It's tough," he tells Mason.

While the two of them are seen walking around the town in the clip, even going into a store that served as Levy's character David's own shop on the show, Levy becomes visibly emotional.

"I didn't think that I would have quite an emotional reaction," he admits. "Just a lot of memories. A lot of memories with Catherine. It's what you have to hold onto, the memories of it all."

Last week, Levy shared how he has found comfort after O'Hara's death.

"The great comfort for me has just been to see how loved she was, you know?" he told Jimmy Fallon on the March 31 episode of The Tonight Show. "The outpouring [from fans]. Everyone felt like they kind of knew her."
