Olivia Rodrigo's latest teaser might have you "drop dead" with excitement.

Nearly a week after announcing her upcoming third studio album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, Rodrigo took to Instagram to reveal that fans will get their first listen of her new era with the lead single "Drop Dead" when it drops April 17. She shared the news alongside a snapshot of her looking unbothered and blowing a bubble with gum, the name of the song embroidered in pink along the collar of her white sleeveless shirt.

After three years of waiting for OR3, fans finally got the news last week that the "Vampire" singer was releasing a new album, a follow-up to her 2023 sophomore record GUTS. She confirmed the announcement on Instagram on April 2, sharing the cover art of her swinging through the air and telling fans, "I am so proud of this record and I can't wait for you to hear it."

While not much is known about the album, besides its release date and that it was recorded with her longtime producer Dan Nigro, it appears to be aptly-titled. In a recent interview with British Vogue, she explained that the record is full of "sad love songs."

"I realized all my favorite romantic love songs were beautiful," she said, "because they had a tinge of fear or yearning in them."

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love releases June 12.
