Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were seeing fireworks during their date night at Coachella.

The "Woman's World" singer and the former Canadian prime minister enjoyed a night out in the desert while attending the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, on Saturday (April 11). The pair kept it casual for the festival, Perry in a white T-shirt and shorts, black boots and jacket tied around her waist and Trudeau in a white tee, jeans, sneakers and backwards navy baseball cap.

Perry shared several snaps from their festival date night on Instagram, photos of them walking hand-in-hand through the festival grounds and chowing down on snacks between sets and even a video of the pair watching Justin Bieber sing his song "Speed Demon," Perry smiling at the camera while her beau stands close behind looking at the stage.

Perry also posted a clip of her hilariously reacting to Bieber's YouTube-heavy headlining set, joking, "Thank God he has Premium, I don't wanna see no ads."

The "Roar" hitmaker and the politician first sparked romance rumors in July 2025 following her split from ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, and Perry confirmed their relationship in December when they went Instagram official. In March, a source told People that the couple is "determined" to make their relationship work despite their "long-distance dynamic."

"Katy and Justin have had to be flexible to make the relationship work," the insider said. "They travel whenever they can to spend time together. The long-distance dynamic was never a surprise to them."
