Meghan Trainor is making the tough decision to cancel her upcoming tour.
On Thursday (April 16), the "Still Don't Care" singer announced that she was cancelling her planned The Get In Girl Tour that was scheduled to kick off in June in order to focus on being "present" with her family after she and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their third child earlier this year.
In a statement to her Instagram Stories, Trainor explained that the tour combined with the rollout of her new album Toy With Me, out April 24, all while navigating becoming a family of five has been too much to handle at once.
"After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I've made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour," she wrote. "Balancing the new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time."
Trainor went on to address fans who would be disappointed in the choice to not move forward with the tour as scheduled but emphasized that it was the "right decision" to make for her family.
"I know this will come as a disappointment to my fans and I am so sorry to let you down," she said. "But I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now. I promise I'll be back soon, and I can't wait for you to hear this new record. I'm so proud of it, and I'm endlessly grateful for your love and support always."
While she may not be hitting the road as planned this summer, Trainor gave fans something to look forward to on Thursday by revealing the tracklist for her upcoming album on Instagram with a photo of the song titles on the keys of a shimmering pink bedazzled piano.
