Stanley Tucci is speaking his truth and owning his diva status.
While at the New York City premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 on Monday (April 20), Tucci hilariously addressed his costar Anne Hathaway's recent comments on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert after she jokingly labeled him the biggest "diva" on set because "he's so fussy about his clothes."
Speaking with People's correspondent Taylen Biggs, 12, the Hunger Games actor played along with the bit, saying there's "no question" about it and agreeing that he's "awful" and "just terrible."
Biggs, however, offered a different take, saying that it's actually a "good thing" to be considered a diva because that "means being confident," causing Tucci to admit that she is right.
Tucci and the Mother Mary actress along with Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt all reprised their roles from the original 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada for its long-awaited sequel releasing this year. During her chat on the Late Show, Hathaway explained what it was like reuniting with her cast mates and returning to their fashionable roles after two decades, likening it to coming back together after 20 years to make another album, "and I love the album."
The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters May 1.
