Were Ross and Rachel really on a break? Lisa Kudrow is looking at the longtime, hotly-contested Friends debate in a new light.

During a Monday (May 4) appearance on The Tonight Show, Kudrow, one of the stars of the beloved sitcom, weighed in on the longstanding argument over whether or not Ross (David Schwimmer) was in the wrong for sleeping with someone else while believing he and girlfriend Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) were "on a break," per Page Six.

"I'm afraid now to bring it up," she told host Jimmy Fallon.

After Fallon asked for her "take" on if the characters' were indeed on a break, Kudrow had blunt response,Β and it's not looking good for Ross.

"Well, no. But it's beyond that. It's beyond break or not β€” he was a bad boyfriend," she said with some trepidation before lighting up as the crowd immediately erupted into cheers. "Oh, you agree! Oh, I feel better. Thank you."

The Comeback actress' views on the matter appear to have changed over the last few years as she explained that she and her cast mates were majority on Ross' side.

"We did the reunion just like four or five years ago... we were all so like, 'They were on a break.' Like, 'Rachel, that hysterical shrew, not letting him sleep with someone and won't get back [together],'" Kudrow said. However, she now agrees with the character's decision. "She shouldn't have gotten back with him because he was horrible."

Despite playing the beloved Phoebe Buffay on Friends opposite Aniston, Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and the late Matthew Perry, Kudrow recently revealed some industry professionals only saw her as "the sixth Friend" and had "no vision" for what her career would look like when the show eventually came to an end after 10 seasons.
