Farruko is back with a brand-new single that will bring all of his fans around the world together, and it's iHeartRadio's latest World Premiere.
On Friday, May 8, the Puerto Rican singer-rapper delivered his latest track "YAPAQUE" featuring Steve Aoki and Greeicy. The EDM banger is a step up from his previous international electronic hit, "Pepas." It's an uplifting anthem for those trying to get rid of the lingering love they once had for an ex-partner. Farruko teamed up with Steve Aoki and a team of producers to cook up the high-energy house track and shoot the extravagant music video.
“Farruko and Greeicy, both legends," Steve Aoki says. "I’ve made songs with each of them separately, and now we came together for this one. We debuted it at Ultra, pure happiness. It's a global summer anthem."
Farruko and Greeicy joined Steve Aoki during his set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami back in March to perform the song live for the first time. In the music video, Farruko shows fans how he and Greeicy recorded the song together before they hit the stage with Aoki. The trio's performance looked like a movie as they dominated the stage and threw some cake at a fan.
"YAPAQUE" comes one month after Farruko released his latest album, Manda La Plena Moh. The project has nine songs featuring Eddy Lover, Boza, Renato, and others. Over the past few weeks, Farruko has released music videos and visualizers for each song on the album.
