Gracie Abrams' new album is officially on the way.
The "That's So True" singer confirmed that her third studio album Daughter from Hell is dropping this summer, with the lead single "Hit the Wall" coming out Thursday (May 13) night. The project will follow up her 2024 sophomore record The Secret of Us. She made the announcement on Instagram, also sharing the album artwork featuring a close up shot of Abrams with an intense look on her face as she stared out of frame.
"Whoa whoa whoa," she wrote in the caption. "Freaking out. I am so ready for it to be yours."
Abrams first teased her new era while announcing her new single "Hit the Wall" on May 1, teasing a snippet of the track and admitting that she "[loves] it with everything I have." She later explained how the song will introduce a "new chapter" while on the red carpet of the 2026 Met Gala.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in January, Abrams said the work she put into her new album was "definitely my favorite music I've ever made" and hopes that fans will connect with the record in a way that's personal for them as well.
"I feel very closely connected to it," she said. "I appreciate so much that these albums are time capsules of where I'm at in my life at any given point, but right now it does feel very like me. I hope that whoever finds it, connects with it and that they make it theirs when it's out one day."
Daughter from Hell drops July 17.
