Call her mommy because Alex Cooper is pregnant with her first child.
On Sunday (May 17), the Call Her Daddy podcast host, 31, revealed she and her husband, Matt Kaplan, 42, are expecting their first child together, sharing a set of photos on Instagram showing off her growing baby bump. In the snaps, a glowing Cooper was all smiles while she cradled her bump in a midriff-bearing outfit as she gazed into her husband's eyes.
"Our family 🤍," she wrote in the caption.
Cooper and Kaplan, a Hollywood producer, have been married since April 2024, when they said "I do" in a ceremony in Riviera Maya, Mexico, per People. A source also told the outlet that the couple are excited for this next phase of their life together while also refuting claims of reported "tension" in their marriage.
"Rumors of tension in the marriage are false, and they're so excited about this new chapter," the insider said. "They've tried to hold out as long as they could before announcing."
The couple's announcement was met with a tremendous amount of support, garnering nearly 1.5 million likes as of Monday and comments from fans and celebrities alike.
Taylor Lautner, who is also expecting his first child with wife Tay Lautner, said, "You just made my day. Ur gonna be the best mama," as Tay also shared that she is "so excited for your both. Khloe Kardashian wrote, "Congratulations mama! Such a beautiful blessing," while Brittany Snow said, "Congrats you three!"
