Cardi B jokes she wasn't cut out for the boy mom lifestyle.
The "Bodak Yellow" rapper took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday (May 17) to quip that she is definitely a "girls' mom" after feeling ready to pass out in the heat while watching her 4-year-old son Wave's recent baseball game, per People. Cardi also threw out the first pitch of the game, her son by her side as the crowd chanted her name, and while she was there to support her son, that doesn't mean she needed to enjoy the great outdoors.
"Being outside in this heat for a baseball game, ugh, I can't handle it," she said, adding, "I'm ready to pass out, I can't handle it."
Bardi joked that she instead prefers the cooler setting that comes with her daughters' extracurricular activities.
"This is why I say I'm such a girls' mom," she said. "A dance recital inside, I love it. I love a dance recital inside."
Cardi shares Wave and daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 19 months, with estranged husband Offset as well as a son she welcomed with New England Patriots player Stefon Diggs in November 2025.
Cardi and Diggs reportedly split in February after more than a year together, with a source telling People recently that she "didn't trust him and felt like things were going on behind her back." However, rumors have circulated that they have reunited after being seen spending time together publicly. The insider added that the rapper "still cares" about Diggs and "never closed the door completely" on her relationship with the NFL star, adding that Diggs "stepped it up a few weeks ago and showed her he wants to make it work."
