Kevin Jonas is cherishing all the "little things" in his love story with wife Danielle Jonas.
The Jonas Brothers musician recently spoke to People about his new single "Little Things," which dropped Friday and honors his wife of 16 years.
"It's a great extension of my story with Danielle, it truly is," he said. "We have three big years ahead of us: we have a big birthday for her this year, a big birthday for me next year, and then our 20th wedding anniversary in 2029, which is an insane thing to think about."
Danielle didn't just inspire "Little Things"; Kevin explained that his longtime love is "in the DNA" of everything he writes and "always inspires me when I'm in the writing room."
"Everybody brings their own stories into the writing," he said. "Sometimes you can just imagine a scenario or put yourself somewhere telling a story, but for the most part, you take stories and you associate them to what you're doing."
Jonas' latest track follows his solo single debut "Changing," which he first debuted during a Jonas Brothers show on their Greetings From Your Hometown tour in August 2025. He explained to People how the positive response from fans inspired him to continue making solo music.
"I never expected to do more than just one, but here we are," he said. "I've spent 20 years trying to figure out songs and music for myself. It just started to roll when we had kind of a template and we had a vision for what felt right. I'm really proud of it."
On Friday, Jonas celebrated the release of his new single on Instagram, sharing photos of he and Danielle together while thanking her for being his inspiration and supporting him throughout his career.
"This song is about the small moments that mean the most," he said. "[Danielle] thank you for being my person through all of it."
Kevin and Danielle first met in 2007 while both on family vacations in the Bahamas and tied the knot in 2009. They have since welcomed two daughters: Alena, 12, and Valentina, 9.
