The most brutally honest confessions can often come from the people closest to you. Just ask Jenna Bush Hager, whose teenage daughter held nothing back when discussing her mom's Botox journey.

The Today with Jenna & Sheinelle host, 44, appeared on the May 20 episode of the Las Culturistas podcast where she got real with hosts Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang about her experience with cosmetic procedures like Botox, including the unexpected reaction she got from her 13-year-old daughter Mila. Hager shares the teen as well as daughter Poppy, 10, and son Hal, 6, with husband Henry Hager, per People.

"I'm always like, I could use a little more, but then I think everybody's so scared because we're on TV that all of a sudden I couldn't move my face," she said. "And my daughter the other day was like, 'You know, you could probably use a little Botox.' I"m like, 'Mila, I get Botox."

Hager agreed with Rogers' take that Mila "drags" her, adding that spending a lot of time with the teen, or any others around that age, is a humbling experience.

"If you feel like you're, like, too big for your britches, get a 13 year old to hang out with you for a little," she said, adding that she will "change accordingly" to the comments, such as booking a hair appointment when Mila pointed out that she could "see [her] grays" coming in through her highlights.

However, the former first daughter accepts the constructive criticism when needed, pointing to a moment when her daughter critiqued an interview introduction as being "too much about" Hager. Though she initially dismissed the remark, she said she "woke up at 4 in the morning" and realized "she's right" and rewrote the introduction.

"I also think that thought of being humble and not making everything about ourselves," she said, "coming from a 13 year old, I was like, 'You know what? If she says that at all, then I'm gonna go in there and fix it.'"

On Las Culturistas, Rogers and Yang "get into the hottest pop-culture moments of the day" and even hang out with special guests like Hilary Duff, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lawrence and Lady Gaga, to name a few. Check out more episodes of the Las Culturistas podcast at iHeart.com.
