Miley Cyrus is officially on the Walk of Fame.

The Hannah Montana alum, 33, cemented her pop culture icon status by being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday (May 22). Surrounded by her loved ones — including her fiancé Maxx Morando, mom Tish Cyrus and sister Brandi Cyrus — Miley gave an emotional speech celebrating the "fierce and fun and fabulous" honor and even referenced the lyric "you'll live forever" from her own song "Walk of Fame," per People.

"This star somehow represents immortality, and although I love the lyric, the fact that I won't is what creates the urgency that sets my heart of fire," she said, continuing, "What feels so special to me about this star is that it's an accumulation of devotion. A star isn't something that you win like a seasonal game. It's not something that you can chase or collect. It's not something you make the next record for."

The Something Beautiful singer also teared up as she expressed gratitude for her support system for being by her side through the ups and downs of life.

"To my family, my future family, parents, my mom, my siblings, my friends, my collaborators, thank you for loving and supporting not only the choices that I make, but my fears, and then facing them with me," she said, adding, "Today is something that I'll never forget and I'm always going to cherish. I love you all so much, thank you."

Cyrus' Walk of Fame honor comes two months after she celebrated a major anniversary in her career, marking 20 years since the premiere of Hannah Montana. As a love letter to the fans who have stuck by her side in the two decades since, she took a trip down memory lane in the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special on Disney+, performing hits old and new and sharing behind-the-scenes details from the set of the beloved series.
