Nick Jonas is in touch with his emotions.
At a recent panel for his new movie Power Ballad, the Hey Jonas! podcast host was asked if there are any specific songs or movies that make him emotional, per People. In addition to admitting that he's "always" crying while watching movies on airplanes, Jonas explained that there are some scenes in Power Ballad that hit harder for him since becoming a father as well as one classic film that never fails to make him shed a tear.
"Well, I'll say there are two scenes in this movie that I'm not in, and they hit me super hard as a father," he said. "I think there's a real thing that you'll see. I want you to think about this powerful stuff, family, that aspect. Then, outside of that, when I cry over a movie, it's The Lion King."
The Jonas Brothers musician noted how it's a special experience rewatching media that was impactful in his own life and sharing it with his 4-year-old daughter Malti, whom he shares with wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
"You know, things that I'm getting to watch with my daughter these days and kind of read some of those experiences, the stories that shaped who I became, and now I'm sharing that with her," he said. "It's a totally special thing to experience."
Jonas and Chopra, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed Malti in January 2022 via surrogate. In a podcast interview earlier this year, the Sunday Best singer opened up about the "frightening" first few months of her life after her "intense" premature birth.
