Jennifer Lopez is living the single life and loving every minute of it.
The "On the Floor" singer spoke about her dating life at the moment during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday (May 27), per People. After confirming that she is single right now, she took her elation at the revelation a step further by adding, "I shoulda done it sooner,"
"I've been doing it all wrong, trust me," she said.
Curious about her dating prospects, host Jimmy Kimmel wondered whether Lopez would be interested in "becoming the next Bachelorette"; however, that is one move she has no intention of following. Asking Kimmel if he's "crazy," she noted that being single has been "fantastic" and that she is "not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now."
"I'm good," she said. "I'm good right now where I'm at."
Lopez has been very vocal about her positive views of being single since her split from ex-husband Ben Affleck. She filed for divorce from the Good Will Hunting actor in August 2024 after two years of marriage. In March of this year, she explained to Good Morning America that she is "happy" and feels "free" being on her own.
"I'm in my happy era," she said. "I think, for the first time in my life, I feel like I'm free; I'm on my own. And it feels really good."
