You win some, you lose some.
On Wednesday's (May 27) episode of the Hey Jonas! podcast, Joe Jonas detailed to his brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas the time he had a "bad audition" while trying for a role in The Morning Show. He auditioned for the part of a "young anchor" who was a potential love interest for Jennifer Aniston's character, per Page Six.
"Long story short, I show up early [and] they're like, 'Oh.' And they did this thing — which was very kind ... they were like, 'Oh, we have a private room for you," he said.
Unfortunately for Joe, the "saddest room you can imagine" also provided the opportunity to hear other actors auditioning "clear as day." While the Music for People Who Believe in Love musician admitting "these guys were crushing it," when it came time for his own audition, things went south.
"And I go in and I just, like, crash and burn," he said. "It was literally, like, I don't even know what I'm auditioning for."
Joe also revealed another less-than-stellar audition included his bid for a role in Wicked, mainly because of the "incredible" competition he was up against.
"I think also Wicked was a bit of a strange one because there was, like, incredible theater vocalists I could hear clear as day," he recalled.
