Taylor Swift is singing the praises of legendary musician Paul McCartney.

On Tuesday (June 2), the Life of a Showgirl singer, 36, showed the Beatles alum, 83, some love following the release of his new album The Boys of Dungeon Lane, resharing his Instagram post about the project to her Stories with a message about how she continues to be inspired by the art he creates.

"Never not inspired by this eternally exceptional artist," she wrote.

In his original post, McCartney shared the meaning behind the album name while giving a look at his writing process.

"The album title, comes from a lyric in the track 'Days We Left Behind,'" he wrote in the caption. "I was thinking just that, about the days I left behind and I do often wonder if I'm just writing about the past but then I think how can you write about anything else?"

Swift's show of support follows McCartney's recent comments comparing her international fame and success with the Beatlemania surrounding him and his bandmates — John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr — at the height of their career, per People.

"You do see the parallel, you know the fame and the amount of fame," he said. "The worldwide fame that Taylor Swift has and that we had."

Their fame will soon be brought to life in a new way with the four-part Beatles biopic, each film centered on one of the members of the band.
