Alex Warren recruited a familiar face to help announce his upcoming album.
On Wednesday (June 3), the "Ordinary" singer, 25, revealed his sophomore album WILDCHILD is coming out in August and he enlisted Grown Ups actor Kevin James to make the announcement in a hilarious new video on Instagram.
The video starts with Warren arriving on set, looking concerned about the high-flying plans and worriedly asking, "Is this gonna be safe," only for the director, played by James, to brush off his concerns, "You're fine." However, an immediate accident involving a bucket of blue paint colliding with Warren's red sweater served as an omen for what was to come the rest of the shoot, despite the director saying they can simply "fix it in post."
What followed was a chaotic scene where anything that can go wrong, does go wrong, from artistic disagreements while being suspended by a harness in mid-air to confetti cannons exploding at the wrong moment and even a fire breaking out on the craft services table.
Warren later shared another post showcasing the album cover, a snap of him in the same outfit, sans paint, against a blue sky with wispy clouds.
WILDCHILD, a follow-up to his 2025 debut album You'll Be Alright, Kid, drops August 28.
