Olivia Rodrigo held her own while living large with the "ultimate party girl" Charli XCX.
In a recent radio interview, the "drop dead" singer, 23, praised the "wonderful and lovely" Brat musician as a "girl's girl" and even revealed that she once partied it up with Charli, per People.
"I actually went to a rave with her. I don't even know if it's a rave. I'm not like, a party girl," she said. "She's the ultimate party girl, obviously. I was a little out of my element, but I had the best time, and she was very lovely."
The "Vampire" singer recently proved being a girl's girl goes both ways when she showed support for Charli's upcoming album Music, Fashion, Film, commenting "hell yeah" under the latter's announcement on Instagram. The project drops July 24 and will be "really different" from her 2023 album Brat.
Rodrigo is also preparing to drop her own new album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love on June 12. In an April interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, she explained that the project, her third studio album, was written "at a time in my life where I was experiencing real romantic love for the first time." She's already released two tracks from the record, lead single "drop dead" and "the cure," which she described as "one of my favorite songs I've ever made."
