Tom Holland is finally setting the record straight once and for all on the Zendaya marriage rumors.
In a new cover story with Esquire, the British actor, 30, confirmed that he and his Spider-Man costar, 29, are indeed married after he was asked about the AI-generated photos that circulated online depicting the couple's alleged wedding ceremony in Lake Como, Italy.
Holland revealed that his grandmother saw the images and thought she wasn't invited to their nuptials, but he explained the very good reason why he didn't have to reach out to more members of his family to tell them the photos weren't real.
"No, because they were all there," he said, shutting down any follow-up questions by cheekily adding, "That's all you'll get on that."
While the Odyssey actor didn't reveal any additional details about his and Zendaya's wedding — and you shouldn't hold your breath for more — he did share some sweet insight into their relationship. The longtime couple met in 2016 while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming and have kept their romance private over the years.
"Our business can present very stressful situations and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time," he said. "We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it's like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else."
He continued, "So, for me, I found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I have ever been when I'm with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period."
The comments echo a sentiment shared by the Euphoria star in April when she opened up to The New York Times' Modern Love podcast about finding her "person" in Holland.
"I think sometimes, at least in my personal experience, I found that — sometimes people can get nervous around people, but there's a certain feeling that I was able to experience when I knew that this is my person, because I didn't," she said. "I don't feel nervous, I feel really peaceful and I feel really calm. And feel like, 'Oh, I actually feel more nervous when I'm away from you than when I'm with you.' And that's when I was like, 'Ah, that's a good sign, that's me listening to intuition."
Zendaya and Holland, who have been engaged since at least early 2025, sparked marriage rumors earlier this year when she was seen wearing a gold band rather than her engagement ring. The speculation was stoked even further when her longtime stylist Law Roach claimed they had "already" gotten married and that everyone "missed it."
