Benson Boone is having the time of his life, but not everything is as it seems.
Boone dropped his latest single "The Time Of My Life" on Thursday (June 25), an emotional track about trying to move on from a relationship when all he wants is for them to be by his side for the ride.
"I am having the time of my life/ And I wish that you were still right here/ I wish you came along," he sings in the bridge. "And I'll be standing here like a stone/ Waves are crashing down, years of passion/ How can the world keep moving on? I will never let myself move on."
The "Beautiful Things" singer also shared an accompanying music video, co-directed by himself and Matt Eastin, starring Boone and influencer Alix Earle as two stage actors putting on the performance of a lifetime, from sword fights and slaying dragons to a romantic boat ride and a fairytale wedding, all while Boone desperately hopes for a special someone to appear in the crowd.
Boone is preparing to hit the road for his Wanted Man U.S. tour starting next month, kicking off July 7 in Pittsburgh and traveling to dozens of cities around the country before wrapping up in Wyoming on September 3. He was also announced as one of the artists taking the stage at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One in September. Check out the full lineup.
